Lynex was released in 1988 by Lynett Systems Ltd formed by entrepreneur Michael Lynch. Again, it is another Sampler which has been claimed as the first Sampler for the Atari TOS range. Although not true in the strictest sense, it was certainly the first 16-bit stereo Sampler for the range. The Lynex is an external ADC which interfaces with your Atari allowing a sampling frequency of up to 50 kHz. The software runs as an ACC, allowing editing of your samples, as well as MIDI assignment.
